Could someonee help with a few style changes please?
(5 posts)-
Hi, firstly I would just like say say what a great find ThemeLab was for me and the free theme are excellent.
I downloaded WP Multiflex 5 theme which is near perfect for me.
I need to make some style changes but I don't know where to start and I don't want to break any of the functionality.
I would like to change the header from the original (Screenshot: http://www.coolnquiet.co.uk/original.png)
I would like to make it appear like this (Screenshot: <snip>)
Thanks for any help you can provide.

That "modified" screenshot is a little too revealing for Theme Lab, so had to edit it out. To do this you'll probably have to use that as a background image and edit the height to accommodate it, since it appears to be a bit taller than the original

Thanks for your reply and I completely understand your view on the modified image. If I was to create a suitable image would you help format my header CSS.
Again thank you.

I am starting this request again with a new revised image.
I downloaded WP Multiflex 5 theme which is near perfect for me.

The header is the same width as the original, it's slightly taller, it has a background image called header-photo.png - I realize that I will need to recolor the border images - the border color is #333, the background color behind the breadcrumb and search box is #666
I forgot to add, the theme files I have are original, I haven't changed anything.
Thanks for any help you can provide, it really is appreciated.

Okay, I'll have to be honest - doing CSS changes like this isn't something I'm quite good at. I would imagine you'd have to use the background-image CSS code and place the non-repeating image there with the same dimensions. Sorry I can't be of any further help.
