You must be using an older version of WordPress. I would suggest either upgrading to the latest version or fixing the error.

Hi

I really love this layout!
But when I did my first post I got an error message similar to this.

Fatal error: Unknown function: the_title_attribute() in /home/mysite/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/tomodachi/tomodachi/page.php on line 7
depending on where I click a different .php may come up and line number. for instance i clicked on the page tab of my site to reproduce the above.

Also when I try and create a new category it does not work

Really hope someone can help!!

BTW I edited the logo slightly to make my domain name fit. only changed the px value and font size.
Thanks

The Home/Discussion/RSS Feed image links under the search box inTomodachi's sidebar break out of the brown bounding box on Safari 3.1 on OS X Leopard. Looks fine in Firefox 3.Here's an image link for reference:

Since Tomodachi is a free theme, is there any support for it?

It's http://www.accountingunleashed.com - I think I want to make it a little narrower so that it fits into a 1024x768 window, but I'm not sure if I should bother.

My other issue is that the "Go" search button doesn't display in IE7. Any ideas on that?

Also, I just used the blockquote function and it only puts the quote graphic at the beginning, not at the end. Would it be difficult to put a graphic at the end of the block too?

Sorry for all of the questions. I really love the look of this theme and want to get everything in place now so I can concentrate on building up posts (and more readers!).

I appreciate any help you can give me.

I figured it out last night after pulling an (almost) all-nighter. I had to change several sizes in CSS files and actually re-size some graphics. It is now exactly how I want it to be! I wish I documented my steps to share with you, but I'm not sure of all the changes that I made!

I would really like to make a couple of changes to the great Tomodachi theme but have no idea how to do it.

1. I need to make the left column where the posts are displayed wider. This is so I can have a video in a post that is 640x480.

2. In order to accomodate a wider left-hand column I would like to make the entire page wider so that the right-hand column is still the same as it is now.

Is this possible? I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks!

I've been tweaking the Tomodachi theme a bit (so far just the logo!) for a non-profit I work for, and am unfortunately seeing some errors in Safari with this theme.

If you check this out in firefox:
http://xeniainstitute.org/

It looks fine. But in Safari (on Mac, not sure about PC) there is some problems with the area under the logo (home, discussions, rss):
http://xeniainstitute.org/

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is something that's puzzled me as well. Another user in the comments of the Tomodachi post also had trouble with this. It must be some list-style:none; code but I'll look into this more carefully.

Hi, I noticed this theme doesn't allow the use of bullets, so I've messed with it a bit and found that I can't just take out the no style on ul in the css for this theme because it will mess with the columns. So I'm asking if someone can tell me what to edit so that bullets (and numbering if that's affected too) will work in just posts. Thanks!

Hi Leland!! I am all done with my site, I just wanted to show it to you, I think it came out great and I am excited. Thank you SO much for providing these templates to us for free... I actually really enjoyed customizing it and playing around with all the .css files, and making my own PHP "if" statements. It was nice to have a project again. Anyway, the site I created was made for busy moms, and I *am* a busy mom, so there's no way I could have done this from scratch.
Here is the finished product, enjoy:

Hello! I am using the Tomodachi theme and LOVE it - thank you so much for giving this to us for free.
I am trying to modify it to fit my needs for a blog. I am trying to insert Google Adsense ads.

I would like to insert a vertical column of ads down the right hand side of the blog posting. However, as not to squish the actual blog posting, I would like the ads to be inserted in between the posting and the sidebar.

As I can see the sidebar is very dependant on a lot of pieces, I would rather see if I can "shift" the entire heading (navigation bar) and blog posting to the left.

So far I have found '#wrap' and widened it to 1000 pixels instead of 930. It has screwed up other placements, though.

Is this possible? Or would I throw *everything* off?
You can see what I mean from here, this is a dummy post I created: link

Do you have any suggestions? Or am I out of luck?
Thanks,
Jess :-)
