Try renaming the home.php file to something else. This will allow the main index template to "take over" the homepage in the template hierarchy. I want to get rid of the "asides" and "What's new" and add the sidebar to the right like the post pages. I would also like for the newest post to appear at the top of the page and descend in order of newest post. </p>
