Agregado is yet another amazing WordPress theme release by Smashing Magazine, this time in collaboration with designer Darren Hoyt. This theme is known as a “lifestream” theme, designed to preserve the personal website. I’ll be giving this theme a complete review, along with information on how to use it, and an overview of features.

I receive e-mails all the time with compliments on Theme Lab’s design. People frequently ask if they could get a copy of the theme I use here, but I’ve always politely declined.
I feel that this design is part of the “brand” here at Theme Lab, and I wouldn’t want to dilute that brand by giving away my theme.
To any of you who don’t know, this design was custom designed, specifically tailored for my site. I’ve had it up for a little over 4 months.
It recently came to my attention that an uncreative individual has released a theme that has an eerily similar resemblance (to say the least) of Theme Lab. At first I thought I wasn’t going to post about this. I mean, why would I want to give a theme like this free publicity? I figured giving it a completely “honest” review would be a better option.
There have been a number of WordPress theme clubs launched relatively recently, and I usually don’t blog about them (with one exception).
Well there’s more good news for those of you looking for another affordable source for paid WordPress themes. It’s called Elegant WordPress Themes. At the time of writing this post, there are 12 WordPress themes, all for one low price of $19.95 per year. The Arthemia WordPress theme, designed by Michael Jubel, is probably one of the cleanest and feature-packed free themes I’ve seen in a long time. I thought I share my experience with this theme in a review post.

Smashing Magazine has quite the reputation for releasing very high quality free WordPress themes. They have recently released an absolutely gorgeous free theme called Infinity. I finally had the chance to give this theme a test drive and thought I would share my findings in a review post.

I came across the Thematic theme about a week ago and decided to do a quick video review on it. It is described as a WordPress theme framework. Here are just a few of the features:

Overall I’d say Thematic is a great quality theme that’s relatively easy to use for beginners. The separate widgetized areas for different sections of the theme are also a plus, giving the theme user lots of customization options right out of the box.
A great free WordPress theme, called Chocolate, has been released by Pancak.es. I made another video, similar to my last video review of a theme by the same author, Nick. Here are a few of the features present in the theme.
