Multiple WordPress Loops Explained – This post by Cristian Antohe at Cats Who Code explains how multiple WordPress loops work. If you’re not familiar with WordPress loops, I recommend you check out an earlier article I wrote here: The Ultimate Guide to the WordPress Loop

If you know of any other recently published WordPress resources, be sure to let me know in the comments!

P.S. I just asked a question on Twitter about this week’s theme battle. If you’re on Twitter, be sure to let me know what you think.

Theme Battles are a first here at Theme Lab. Below are screenshots of two uncoded designs, both created by Anto. It’s pretty simple, vote for the theme you’d rather see coded into a WordPress theme. Next week, I’ll tally up the votes and start coding the winning theme.

WordPress 2.8.2 Released

The release of WordPress 2.8.2 has been announced. This was a relatively unexpected release, however it fixes a cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to comment author URLs not being fully sanitized. This could then cause you to be directed to another site from your admin panel.

I’ve been reading on Twitter that people haven’t had any problems upgrading, it looks to be a pretty simple fix. Just to be on the safe side, I’d recommend you take a backup before upgrading.
