I’m also seeing a boom in companies who are requiring this skill for their new hires. In fact, this article shows some interesting WordPress trends that actually show these jobs increasing by 4 times what they were just a year earlier. It’s pretty impressive.

But there’s been lots of talk to upgrade the forum, and bbpress has been suggested.

I’d love to see WordPress developed as an online booking facility… there was one (plugin) in development somewhere but i think it’s stopped.
