Another week has passed, which means another week of WordPress weekend resources.

WordPress Logos and Graphics - A collection of official WordPress logos, buttons, and wallpapers. Also has the official WordPress color palette. This stuff is the “real deal.”

Create an Ajax-based Auto-completing Search Field for your WordPress Theme - A very interesting tutorial written by Jean-Baptiste Jung over at Hack WordPress. This tutorial goes over how to create an auto-completing search box for your WordPress theme, complete with all the necessary code.

Easier Theme Development with the Sample Post Collection - Dan Philibin of WPCandy has just released an XML file for use in testing your WordPress themes. Included in the package is a collection of posts, tags, and categories. This can then be imported to your WordPress test site.

That’s all for this week. If you know of any recently published WordPress resources, feel free to let me know in the comments.

I Posted an XML download three days earlier, exactly the same idea, with Lorem Ipsum as the source for my content, I feel like this was ripped off my idea, either that or a huge coincidence?? let me know what you think…

@Stu: Hmm…that is indeed a very strange coincidence that your release and WPCandy’s were just 3 days apart. I don’t think the idea is exactly new, however. I remember seeing a WordPress.org support thread with a link to yet another one of these sort of files quite a while ago. Now I can’t seem to find it.
