Hello! I have been using this theme for over a year now and LOVE it!

Is there a way to remove the category tags off from above the posts on the homepage? Thank you so much!

I have a script that auto-rotates posts into the Headline and Featured sections of the theme: http://themattreid.com/wordpress/?p=323

Sam, not sure what you mean by "the theme can only be used via the WP free version and doesn’t work on self-hosted WP as a CMS" ...that seems to imply the theme works on WordPress.com and not self-hosted WordPress. If anything, I think it would be the opposite.

As far as price (note: we're talking about the "premium" version, not the free one I reviewed here), compared to some others that's not too bad, although if it's as unsupported as you say, that would definitely be a major concern.

There are plenty of well-supported commercial themes out there that I'm sure could fit your needs.

This appears to be a good theme. However, I have read posts on the developers own website addressing concerns (important ones), such as "the theme can only be used via the WP free version and doesn't work on self-hosted WP as a CMS," and the developer "Mike", failed to address this.

I do however, see multiple entries across the web, including this page, where somebody addresses an interest in purchasing the template/theme and he responds with "contact me for a quote" or other replies that are sale focused.

Quite frankly, I like the visual appearance (as a graphic designer and developer myself), and was considering using the free version OR the premium version for a magazine project that I've been assigned, until I realized how unsupported it appears. Even the description is lacking in many relevant specifics and when you see a seller only interested in sales, rather than addressing the questions of those posing technical questions prior to purchasing, well let's just say that's a RED FLAG.

I think it's got great visual simplicity. Though, for a $70 dollar template and a nearly $300 developers license, THIS GUY'S OUT OF HIS &*#%ING MIND.

He's competing against vast development organizations that sell the complete package, with full support, developer tutorials, customer service by telephone and e-mail, premium extensions, add-on's, SEO integration and optimization, and for $25 dollars LESS on average.

I love the theme. But, a bad deal is a bad deal.

Thank you Leland for the excellent review and also to everyone who commented. I fell in love with this theme the moment I first saw it. I was hesitating using it on my blog as I saw the need for coding (I am not averse to that at all, just did not want to go down a path where the investment might not be worth the return). You have all convinced me to start using this theme. I plan to change my blog over to Arthemia as soon as I can block off a couple of hours to do so.

Wish me luck... I will post any out of the ordinary experience or lesson learnt back here.

I did everything, set scripts and cache t "write" and every time I place an image, the thumbnails won't show up. Am I doing something wrong? How do I set up the Headline and Featured thumbnails? Will it be the image that I use for that post? Or do I have to set it up separately? It seems I got everything else, except this thumbnail problem! PLEASE HELP!
