Stylevantage – Free WordPress Theme
There seemed to be a three column theme drought recently, so I decided to port this one called Stylevantage from Styleshout. This template has been around a while, but I couldn’t find any decent WordPress integrations, so decided to do a fresh one myself.
- Fully compatible with WordPress 2.5 and above
- Native Gravatar (WP 2.5+) and tagging support
- Both sidebars (left and right) widget-ready
- Validates XHTML strict
There are three different color stylesheets available (orange default, green, and blue) which can be easily switched out in the header file. Simply change Orange.css to Blue.css or Green.css to change to the color of your choice.

Looking for web hosting?
Question: What's the best type of web hosting?
Answer: The kind you don't have to worry about.
And that's precisely why I recommend HostGator. I've been using them myself for years and they've been nothing short of superb.
Fast load times, great support, WordPress-friendly, and good prices. Not much more you can ask for.
New customers can get 25% off of any HostGator web hosting package with the coupon: themelab25percentoff
Note: I am a HostGator affiliate, but that doesn't make my recommendation any less genuine.

@ameo: You’ll probably have to edit the width in the CSS file.
To change the colour, you need to know hexidecimal codes.
Open Orange.css, and go to line 171.
Replace the background: #FFF; attribute, with the colour you want, eg:
#wrap {
margin: 0 auto;
width: 850px;
text-align: left;
background: #c567ab; /* this changes the colour to a nice pink.. */
}
Enjoy,
Ben

ps: as u can see, im a newby at this
@gispe!: You want to change the colors? Go to header.php and find the following line:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://demo.themelab.com/wp-content/themes/stylevantage/Orange.css" type="text/css" />Change the “Orange” to “Blue” or “Green” – hope this helps.
thanks for that, but my question was little more simpler, where in wordpress have to put this code??
cuz i tried puttin this in a new page, but didnt work, it just created the new page.
here is my blog if u want to see it: http://justdontenterhere.wordpress.com/

Hello,
I am an wordpress newbie.
I appreciae this 3 columns wordpress theme as an oportune for my weblog. I’ve downloaded it.
I intend to transform my dgsblog in a 3 columns blog.
Can you send me a short practical-use-it-now op. procedure with necessary steps for uploading the plugins ?
Best regards,
Bien cordialement et bon weekend
Dan Gheorghe
@Dan: This theme isn’t available on WordPress.com so you can’t use it there, unfortunately.
Thanks Mr. Leland,
Meanwhile I’ve opted for another wordpress theme.

Hi there. Just wanted to say that I really liked this theme and have decided to use on my site Parmiter.com.
I just wanted to know how to change the colours of the relevant columns like in your screen shot above. I can edit the template and replace orange with green or blue as advised, but I would ideally like one sidebar (or possibly just one widget) in a different colour.
Great theme though – thanks alot
Look at it in action!
I’ve customized it a bit
I would like to customize the blog to use the top menu (“home” and “about” in the template) to be the same as the other pages on my website. Can you direct me to a good “how to” site for php and links? Thanks for translating this template into a wordpress-ready version!!
Hi Margretta,

Is this theme compatible with WordPress 2.7?
How to insert an image on the header top left hand corner?
I recently created the above blog using WP. When I add a new page, it shows up on the top menu bar. How can I make it show on the sidebar? Also, I have added several child pages under the new page. I would like to show links to these pages (e.g.: http://yogawithsubhash.com/yoga-sutra-translations/ysp-sutras101-120/) on the sidebar. How can I do that? I truly appreciate your help. Thanks.
