Here’s another great template designed by DemusDesign and ported into WordPress by me. This one actually has a separate stylesheet for 800px width, as well as 1024px width (the default). There is a style switcher script built in for this, which can be seen at the bottom of the right sidebar. The sidebar and footer are both widgetized and ready to go.

I like the design (and port). I especially like the idea of having the same page menu at the bottom as it allows the user to navigate without having to scroll up all the time.
Love it, absolutely love the design. Im downloading it atm for my blog
. A background colour would make it nicer though. Abhishek http://www.dibugs.com
I love this theme and just installed it but I”m wondering which versions of WP it is compatible with? I have 2.1.2 and it does not seem to be working despite my best attempts. I’m getting a fatal error message: ” Call to undefined function the_title_ attribute() in /home/[my domain]/just-lucid/index.php on line 7.
I tried removing the code at line 7 to no avail.
Any ideas? Thanks.
@jocelyn: Okay, that’s a pretty old version of WordPress. I know it’s compatible with version 2.3.x to 2.5.x. Try changing the_title_attribute to just the_title to see if that helps. There are a few instances of it in the theme in single.php, page.php, index.php, archive.php, and search.php.
this theme is very nice, its look like minimalist but this one is more usefull.but when i install and upload my host, and select this thema my admin’s panel. some code, some tags is not support with ie6, could you help me ?
Hi,
I love the Theme, absolutely brilliant!
I have a question though, I’m having trouble with Paragraphing. I wonder if you can tell me where in the Stylesheet I can find the bit to make it so paragraphs appear.
Thanks in advance,
Samantha.
@Samantha: This is discussed in this forum thread
Hi DemusDesign,
Very nice indeed, I chose it as my WP theme. One question though, and I wish I had checked into this earlier, but the header demo suggests that the banner image expands in height with the number of pages in the vertical left nav. Nice feature, but I’d prefer a static image height because of the custom image I am using. Can you tell me how to achieve that in the code? Thanks!
Hi there,
Great theme. This is what I’ve been looking for for so long.
I’m using this for our charity website. Thank you so much.
I have one question. Is there anyway to remove the phrase “comments are closed” on pages where comments are closed? This will be most pages and I’ve rather not have that written.
See the test domain here: http://www.anothercrapcard.com
Many thanks,
Ben
@Ben: You should be able to open up comments.php (in the /just-lucid/ directory) and seach for the text “Comments are Closed” and just delete it from there.
@Leland Thanks very much. That worked a treat.
Hi there,
Would you be able to tell me how to remove ‘Home’ from the left navigation?
I don’t need it.
Many thanks,
Ben
Hello again,
Thanks again for a brilliant template. I’m having a little trouble and wondered if anyone can help?
I have a product page here:
http://srilankacards.com/?page_id=31
And the widgets sidebar seems to be forcing the content down the page?
Anyone know how I can fix this?
Many thanks,
Ben
Ben, were you able to resolve this?
Hi Leland,
I was. Thanks.
A friend of mine fixed it. This is what he said:
“It’s a CSS problem with boxes, floats and clearing.
The .productdisplay divs are all floating free of div#products_page_container – and they’re set to clear:both, so they’re ducking below the sidebar.
I stuck a width/overflow hack (http://www.quirksmode.org/css/clearing.html) on div#products_page_container (last rule on the themes style.css) and this seems to have fixed it – in FF anyway.”
Thanks again.
Hi Leland,
I installed this theme about a month ago, and am very pleased with it.
However I updated wp to version 2.9 and now I seem to be having problems with the display of the page.
Is this theme not compatible with WP 2.9?
The problem on my Homepage is that the h2 and h3 appear tiny (hardly visible), the alignment is wrong, and the comments option appears on the right hand side of the content instead of at the bottom.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks
I haven’t tested it with 2.9 yet and can’t imagine why those issues would suddenly pop up after an upgrade. Are you sure it was the core upgrade that caused these issues, not any other plugin installation?
I will get my techies to look into it.
Thank you
