Am moving a website across from the original splashtastic to your ported version and am using the optional splash page as the home page.

I also need a blog page which I can obviously set under Settings: Reading but what do I do with setting the splash page as the home page and having the rest of the site work as in the demo above? I've tried setting a header1.php file using info at top of splash page then calling it on a template defined homepage. I then set the template to use for the Home Page as this adapted one.

However all I get is a blank screen. I assume I can set a header1.php page as well as a header.php, I see no reason why I shouldn't.

Any help appreciated
