Splashtastic - Free WordPress Theme

Today we have a simple, nice-looking WordPress theme. It was originally designed by DemusDesign and (of course) ported into WordPress by myself. This is widget-ready and has a small optional splash page included (details below).

Included in the download is an /optional/ folder which contains 2 files (home.php and splashtastic.css) you need to place in the root template directory - /wp-content/themes/splashtastic/ most likely. Basically, just move the files to the parent directory. You’ll need to hard code the links you want on the homepage, and the text. It will look something like this.

Of course if you want the normal blog layout, this is completely optional. If you don’t move the files, you’ll see the normal blog layout. You can even delete the /optional/ folder and never have to worry about it again.
